Activity Report - Issue 1, 2019/2020

Dear friends,

Our first months of operation have shown that there is indeed a need to support the large but often forgotten group in legal reform and advocacy in Indonesia; the middle class with regular cases.

In this activity report you will find overview of cases we are handling or have handled since our start last September, and activities we were involved in.

But first we need to address the fact that our world is currently a lot different. The Stichting has made a small contribution to a crowdfunding for ongoing research at Leiden University Medical Center for development of medication and vaccine against the new corona virus COVID-19.   • Amsterdam, 12 November 2019. Indonesia NOW conference organized by Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and DutchCulture. Moderating a panel entitled Private Sector and Rule of Law. 

  • Leiden, 31 October 2019. Research seminar at KITLV entitled Developing Enclaves in Indonesia.
